Ryan is an articling student in our Ottawa office. He completed his Juris Doctor at the University of New Brunswick.

Ryan entered his legal studies receiving the Frank McKenna Scholarship and the New Brunswick Law Foundation Scholarship, both awarded to law students for academic excellence. During his studies, he was recognized on the Dean’s List, ranking in the top ten of his class. Additionally, Ryan achieved the William Henry Harrison Moot Court prize, placing within the top four for Oral Advocacy.

Ryan earned a Bachelor of Applied Science in Chemical Engineering from Queen’s University, where he was awarded the Principal’s Scholarship for academic excellence upon entry. He completed a Judicial Internship with the New Brunswick Court of Appeal and participated in the 2024 Gale Cup Moot. 

Ryan’s interest in intellectual property began during his undergraduate studies in chemical engineering. For him, intellectual property represents an opportunity to apply his technical expertise within the legal industry. He looks forward to joining the firm and working with Canada's leading intellectual property practitioners, fostering his growth in the field.
