Christian is an IP litigator with a background in life sciences devoted to safeguarding clients’ IP assets and recognizing the pivotal role of IP in driving innovation, growth and competitiveness.
Christian’s legal practice specializes in intellectual property litigation, addressing all facets of intellectual property law. During his legal studies, Christian served as an Osgoode IP Innovation Clinic Fellow and a Co-President of the Osgoode Health Law Association. He was also a co-winner of the Osgoode Hockey Arbitration Competition.
Before joining Smart & Biggar as an Associate, Christian was an articling student and summer student in our Toronto office.
Prior to beginning law school, Christian earned a B.Sc. in Biology and completed a M.Sc. in Laboratory Medicine and Pathobiology. Christian has received numerous accolades for his academic work, including scholarships for scientific research and for work
during his legal studies.
