Bhupinder’s practice focuses on patent and technology law, particularly obtaining and monetizing intellectual property rights for technology clients.

Bhupinder has built valuable patent portfolios for clients in a wide range of industries, including artificial intelligence, quantum computing, neural networks, telecommunications, control systems, electronics, signal processing, optics, robotics, power systems and power electronics, computer networks, integrated circuits, computer software, and business methods.

Bhupinder also helps clients structure and complete IP transactions to monetize their assets and manage and mitigate IP-related risks. He has helped clients develop licensing and sale strategies to maximize value. He also serves on several client advisory teams, ensuring management is apprised of IP issues and opportunities.

As part of his IP management practice, Bhupinder helps his clients develop competitive intelligence related to their IP assets and their competitors’ IP portfolios and market positions.  He used this information to build client and industry-specific strategies to block competitive technologies, license technology in or out, and manage risks associated with third-party IP rights.
