On April 1, 2019, in accordance with subsection 9(1) of the Certificate of Supplementary Protection Regulations, the fee for filing a Certificate of Supplementary Protection (CSP) increased from $9,192 to $9,376. As a reminder, a CSP does not require the payment of annuities or annual maintenance fees, and the annual maintenance fees to maintain the related patent end with the expiry of the 20-year patent term.
