Canada’s Intellectual Property Firm

Smart & Biggar welcomes seven articling students in Ottawa and Toronto

Smart & Biggar is pleased to welcome seven new articling students. Jacob Green, Emily Miller, Isabelle St-Hilaire and Michael Sgro have joined the team in Ottawa, while Jahdiel Larraguibel, Chen Li and Eleanor Wilson join in Toronto. Many of these students are returning to the firm following terms at Smart & Biggar last year as summer students.

In each of our offices, we hire driven, ambitious, and team-oriented students with a clear passion for intellectual property law and a stellar academic record. In the upcoming year, our articling students will work directly with partners and associates on leading intellectual property files and cases from our high-profile roster of clients from around the world and across industries. They will gain experience in patents, trademarks, copyright and related litigation, and discover what it means to be at their best in an elite field of law.

Welcome back to each of them and all the best for an exciting year ahead.
