Deep expertise in biotechnology, to guide clients on IP protection

With a PhD in immunology and over a decade of research in the field of life sciences, Dr. Bryant Boulianne offers a unique depth of expertise in biotechnology to client activities. Bryant’s practice focusses on the preparation and acquisition of patent protection. He aids in the drafting and prosecution of biotechnology and pharmaceutical patent applications before the Canadian Intellectual Property Office, the United States Patent and Trademark Office and abroad.

IP perspective informed by scientific insight and hands on experience

As an immunologist Bryant offers authority, insight and understanding into important IP classes including molecular biology, biologics and cancer therapy. His client activities involve pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies, universities and research institutions.

Bryant has written seven first-author publications in international scientific journals. Though his specialization is as an immunologist, his work has also dealt with parasitology, protozoology, evolution, botany and cancer.
