Smart & Biggar welcomes associate Udai Grewal to our Vancouver office

Smart & Biggar is pleased to welcome Udai Grewal who is returning to our Vancouver office as an associate.

With a background in engineering, Udai remains engaged in the fields of technology and innovation through IP law. His practice focuses on mechanical and electrical engineering patent prosecution. He believes the best client solutions come from developing a thorough understanding of their needs to apply strategic services that maximize the value of their IP.

Udai earned valuable experience working as a Law Clerk at the Federal Court and was involved in many IP decisions (2022-2023). While working at the Court, he assisted both the Federal Court Technology Committee and the Intellectual Property Bar Liaison Committee.
