Smart & Biggar is pleased to welcome Adam Lakusta as an Associate to our leading our Life Science Patent practice. Based in Calgary, Adam will work alongside Western Canada colleagues in Vancouver to assist our clients in protecting their innovations and addressing complex IP issues.
Adam’s practice focuses primarily on patent procurement and advising the chemical and biotechnology sectors. Adam draws on his background in scientific research to assist clients in developing strategic IP solutions to meet their business goals.
Adam has in-depth experience in the life sciences and biochemical field which he leverages to help innovators in protecting the latest technologies and inventions. He takes an intense interest in emerging technologies and is committed to understanding his clients’ needs to accurately assess where he can provide the most value.
