Smart & Biggar stands out for IP and more with 30 lawyers earning 52 rankings across six practice areas in the 2023 edition of the Canadian Legal Directory
Smart & Biggar is proud to share that 30 of our lawyers have been honoured in six practice areas in the 27th edition of Canadian Legal Lexpert Directory 2023, affirming our leading position for intellectual property and technology, and related areas of law in Canada.
Earning a total of 52 “LEXPERT” rankings our lawyers received esteemed recognition across six practice areas this year, in Intellectual Property (IP), IP Litigation, Life Sciences and Health, Computer and IT Law, Technology Transactions and Advertising and Marketing Law. Each “Leading Practitioner” was selected by their peers and in-house counsel within the Canadian legal community.
Smart & Biggar was also honoured at the firm level with all of our five offices and earned recognition for Intellectual Property as a “Most Frequently Recommended” firm in Ottawa, Toronto, Montréal and Vancouver and a “Consistently Recommended” firm in Alberta, alongside top ratings for IP Litigation as a “Most Frequently Recommended” firm in Ottawa and Toronto and a “Consistently Recommended” firm in Montréal. Smart & Biggar was also ranked as “Repeatedly Recommended” for Technology Transactions in Vancouver and for Computer and IT law in Ottawa.
