Smart & Biggar stands out at the 2024 MIP Americas Awards
Smart & Biggar was once again recognized as one of the world’s leading IP firms by the Managing IP Americas Awards, receiving Canadian Firm of the Year awards for Patent Prosecution and Trademark Disputes as well as being named IP Boutique Firm of the Year - Canada. Principal Jean-Sébastien Dupont was named Canadian Practitioner of the Year (Copyright).
The awards gala was held at the JW Marriott Essex House in New York City on Thursday, April 25, 2024. Managing Director Matthew Zischka joined Jean-Sébastien at the event. Matthew was interviewed by Managing IP. Of the award’s meaning to the firm, Matt said it was a “great honour” to be recognized and noted “this wonderful recognition is gratifying for everyone in the firm as, collectively, we strive every day to meet and exceed our clients’ expectations.”
These awards acknowledge the strength and leadership of our lawyers, patent and trademark agents and we are proud to celebrate this recognition as IP leaders in Canada.
