Smart & Biggar hosts Trademarks & IP Masterclass to help Ottawa start-ups protect their brands

On Wednesday, February 20th Smart & Biggar will host “Trademarks & IP: Branding Beyond the Basics”, an IP Masterclass at Ottawa’s Bayview Yards. Jamie-Lynn Kraft, an associate in our Ottawa office, will discuss how to leverage trademark rights to drive business advantage in both domestic and global markets. Participants will explore the power of a brand to differentiate their businesses in a crowded marketplace and the link a trademark can play between company and customer.

This masterclass is ideal for start-ups at all stages, and in particular those scaling up for growth.
