Our commitment during the COVID-19 outbreak
Smart & Biggar recognizes the increasing disruptions and anxiety caused by the global coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak. Our deepest sympathies go out to all who have been personally affected around the world.
Our Commitment
We are committed to ensuring the safety and health of our people at this time. In response to the coronavirus situation we are following best practices recommended by local and international authorities to minimize the risk of exposure.
We are also committed to maintaining our high standard of service to clients. Smart & Biggar’s offices across Canada remain open for business as usual at this time while we continue to monitor, evaluate and respond to the evolving coronavirus situation.
Uninterrupted Service
Should there be a need for our firm to close any of our physical offices, or if there are impacts on staffing levels as a result of self-quarantines, we are confident in our ability to deliver services ongoing and without interruption. We have implemented proactive measures across our business operations to minimize any potential risk of service disruption, which include a combination of operational policies and protocols, business systems and remote work tools to ensure our firm is able to operate at full capacity.
Remote Work And Travel Policies
Also, we have ensured that all employees involved in business critical service areas are able to work remotely, and we continue to carefully review all non-essential business travel.
If you have any questions or concerns about how we are responding to the outbreak, please reach out to me or your relationship partner.
