Graham Hood presents on key IP issues for cannabis brand owners in OBA webinar
Toronto partner Graham Hood will participate in the webinar “Recreational Cannabis: Key intellectual property and advertising issues”, taking place on Wednesday, May 19, and organized by the Ontario Bar Association (OBA).
As activity continues to soar in the Canadian cannabis market, cannabis growers, retailers and marketers are faced with unique challenges to ensure compliance with government regulations, while obtaining and enforcing IP rights to protect their innovations.
Alongside an expert panel, Graham will discuss advertising and marketing in the Canadian cannabis industry, and how cannabis companies can best protect and enforce their trademark rights.
The webinar is hosted by the OBA Technology & Intellectual Property Law Program, which is co-chaired by Smart & Biggar senior associate Abigail Smith.
