Abigail Smith re-elected to the Ontario Bar Association’s IT & IP section
Smart & Biggar congratulates Toronto senior associate Abigail Smith on her re-election to the Ontario Bar Association’s (OBA) Information Technology (IT) and Intellectual Property (IP) section as an executive member at large. In this role, Abigail will continue to participate in the general business of the section and assume specific projects as assigned by the section chair.
Abigail, who specializes in the field of life sciences, is a skilled litigator and biochemist. She is a Certified Market Access Professional (CAHR/CCPE) and belongs to the Canadian Bar Association’s Intellectual Property Section executive. Abigail is a member of the Canadian Bar Association’s Biotechnology and Federal Courts Practice Committees, the Intellectual Property Institute of Canada’s Young Practitioner and Women’s Committees and sits on the Editorial Board of the Canadian Intellectual Property Review.
