Abigail Smith elected to the Ontario Bar Association’s IT & IP section
Smart & Biggar is pleased to announce that Toronto senior associate, Abigail Smith, has been elected to the Ontario Bar Association’s (OBA) Information Technology (IT) and Intellectual Property (IP) section as an executive member at large.
The IT & IP practice section aims to assist new and existing practitioners in staying up-to-date with emerging issues, law and industry practices in the field. In this role, Abigail will participate in the general business of the section and assume specific projects as assigned by the section chair.
Abigail specializes in the field of life sciences (pharmaceuticals, biologics, medical devices, natural health products), with a focus on pharmaceutical litigation and regulation.
